Giving Birth at This Hospital During the COVID-19 Pandemic
All people who are hospitalized here for childbirth are tested for COVID-19 in advance. Women who are in at least their 36th week of pregnancy are tested during their prenatal health checkup.
Be advised that people who have tested positive for COVID-19 are transferred to Hokkaido University Hospital or Sapporo Medical University Hospital for caesarean section. If there is not enough time to complete this transfer, a caesarean section may be performed at this hospital.
